What was the process of making your latest song UMS?

We travel far away from Berlin once a year to finalise tracks - last year we went to Cape Town.

We worked on a version of "UMS" there. Which became the one that's out now.

But it was actually just the instrumental.

We wanted to leave it like that without vocals.

However, when we heard BARBZ' voice, it was clear to us that we wanted her on the track. 

So we recorded vocals with her and finalised the track in Berlin.

How did you go about choosing the vocalist for your new track?

We always try to choose unique voices. 

With BARBZ, we had the feeling that it's a voice that hasn't been heard very often. 

What artists influence your work?

There are not really any particular artists that influence us.

It's more the songs that we like. It varies from month to month.

Is making dance music something you always envisioned for yourselves?

Yes, I've always wanted to do something creative. 

When I produced my first songs in front of a DAW at the age of 14, I really wanted to do it for a living.

What’s your favourite city to play in and where are you looking forward to performing in 2025?

We of course love performing in Berlin since all of our family and friends are there. 

Pierro: I'd love to play in Naples as I have a lot of family there.

We are in the planning process for an Asian and South American tour this year, which will be very special since we haven't performed there yet
